Installing Courseware
Step by step instructions for downloading and installing the courseware.
Macintosh
- Step 1 - Using the link below, download the software install file.
Step 2 - Once the file has completely downloaded, open the file. On the first run of the file, the Operating System will ask you if you are sure you would like to open the file, select to allow the installer to open.
Step 3 - After the Installer window appears, select the 'Install' button to start the process. This will create a folder in your 'Applications' folder for your course.
Step 4 - Open the 'Di' file then select 'Open' to allow the application to launch.
Step 5 - In the 'Try Buy Use' window click on the 'Use' section. Check the license agreement box. After reading the web page that opens, return to the 'Try Buy Use' window to enter your name, registration number, and serial key. Your registration number and serial key are located on your Faulkner Press online account. Make sure you enter the registration number and serial key exactly as they appear on your account.
Step 6 - Once all information is entered, the software will automatically complete the installation.
Step 7 - When the software initially opens it will receive an automatic update. Once the update is complete click ‘ok’ in the pop up window that appears, the courseware will shut down. The fully functional courseware will be available the next time you open the application.

Additional Information
- Reopen the courseware from the 'Di' icon or courseware folder on your desktop. Check the News and Events section on the left hand side. If you see news from your professor or see the text 'No News Available' your software has been correctly registered and connected to your account. You have completed installing the software. If you run into any problems or have any questions about the installation process refer to our Help Desk or our Contact page for further assistance.
